Description:

U bend tubes are processed by cold working with annealed(if required) at position of U bending area, material available including titanium Gr2, Gr12, copper and cooper alloy, carbon steel, carbon alloy steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel(austenitic, ferritic, super austenitic), duplex stainless steel, monel alloys, nickel alloys etc.

Tips:

1. U bending is manufactured by precision cold working processing machines.

2. Customers kindly provide drawing before production and confirmation between both parties.

3. The bending position and 150mm length leg could be relieved by resistance heating if required.

4. The radius is checked for its OD and wall thinning with the recommended specification.

5. The physical properties and micro-structure is checked at three different position.

6. Each tube is then hydro tested at the recommended pressure to check for leakage.

7. Visual inspection for waviness and cracks is done with Dye Penetrant Test.

8. Thereafter pickled, dried, marked and packed.

9. All procedure is strictly followed as per TEMA "C" and ASTM A-688.
